Working on the centreboard… part 2

Once it was clean I set about removing and replacing the alignment wedges, I’m not sure these are original parts but looking at the housing it seemed a good idea. Instead of marine filler I decided to user glass fibre  filler and then cover it with gelcoat filler. Both of them have a setting time of 10 mins so given a couple of hours I could have it all done.

By the end of the day the first coat of anti-foul was going on, although by now I was hiding from the rain around the back of the accommodation!
